Massage Modalities & Pricing
Therapeutic Deep Tissue: $30/30 Min., $60/60 Min., $80/90 Min.
Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage focuses on individual muscles rather than general muscle groups. Through slow, specific strokes, areas of chronic tension are released. Heavy pressure is an effective way to access deeper muscle fibers. Even so, pressure level is adjusted to the specific needs of the client.
When muscles are adhered and knotted, oxygen and vital nutrients may be blocked out. This can lead to inflammation and adhesions of muscles, resulting in pain. Deep Tissue strokes work to "correct" muscle fibers, releasing the adhesion and realigning tissue. Just as with a fitness routine, the effects of deep tissue massage are achieved over regular sessions. A session can be devoted to one or a few specific areas or to the full body.
Therapeutic Relaxation: $30/30 Min., $60/60 Min., $80/90 Min.
This massage is most helpful in clients with depression, anxiety, high blood-pressure, premenstrual syndrome or high levels of tension. The long, slow strokes of Swedish Relaxation massage enable the body to absorb more oxygen, and detoxifies and increases circulation, all of which contribute to a state of deep relaxation. The skin and nervous system are stimulated and soothed at the same time. Physical and mental stress are reduced. Longer sessions can be booked for an additional fee.
Sports Massage: $30/30 Min., $60/60 Min., $80/90 Min.
Sports Massage is designed not only for athletes, but for anyone with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion. Circulation of blood and lymph is stimulated with Swedish Massage strokes, while Trigger Point Therapy and Deep Tissue work to release knots and adhesions.
A Pre-Event Sports Massage generally lasts 15-30 Minutes and is a short, stimulating massage aimed at the groups of muscles that will be involved during the sporting event/exercise to follow. Clothing is left on for this type of massage. Post-Event Sports Massage is given one to two hours after the event. It is slower, aimed at restoring the muscles used in the event. Rehabilitative Sports Massage alleviates pain due to injury, such as frozen shoulder, tendinitis and ligament tears.
Pregnancy Massage: $30/30 Min., $60/60 Min., $80/90 Min.

It is important to seek care from a Certified Prenatal Massage Therapist. Speak with your health care provider about receiving prenatal massage. Prenatal Massage is given to women in their second trimester of pregnancy and beyond, and must be accompanied by a doctor's note. Postnatal massage does not require a doctor's note, and can be done immediately after discharge for a standard delivery, two weeks after discharge for a cesarean delivery.
Reiki: $25/30 Min., $40/60 Min.
Hot Stone Massage: $75/60 Min., $100/90 Min.
Using smooth, heated stones that help loosen muscles, Hot Stone Massage is deeply soothing and relaxing. Traditional Swedish massage strokes are used in conjunction with the stones. Stones are sanitized and heated before the client arrives. Cold stones are used over inflamed areas or muscle injuries. This massage is a specialized practice that requires greater skill and preparation time, resulting in a higher cost than traditional treatments.
Chair Massage: $1/Min.
Anyone who has sat behind a desk all day is familiar with the pain of a stiff neck, tight shoulders and aching wrists. Chair massage provides quick relief of these symptoms. Sitting in a massage chair and receiving chair massage opens up the back muscles, relieves neck and shoulder pain and increases circulation, even in a short 10 minute session. The client is fully clothed during treatment. Sessions can last 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes per client.
Chair massage is available on-site for corporate events and parties.
Canine Massage, Voluntary Basis
Canine massage is the therapeutic application of massage techniques to the voluntary muscular system of dogs. This helps increase blood and lymph circulation, reduce muscle spasms, relieve tension and stress, enhance muscle tone, promote longevity, disperse pain and aid in injury and healing. Good candidates include dogs recovering from injuries or illnesses, and elderly, athletic or stressed dogs. However, all dogs can benefit from massage just as humans can!
Cancer/Hospice Massage: $50/Session
Studies have shown that cancer massage brings significant relief to cancer and hospice patients, beyond that of touch therapy. Some of the benefits shown in clinical research concluded that massage decreased stress and depression, improved immune function and reduced pain perception. Since stress is linked to a reduction in NK (Natural Kill) cells, the reduction of stress from massage leads to increased NK cells.
This specialized massage will help patients reconnect with their bodies. The treatment promotes relaxation, pain reduction and anxiety, eases fatigue, and improves sleep quality . Clients remain fully clothed. This massage is given on-site.
